General Goods (A New Thing)
07 October 2011
Jason Parker Counce flew in today along with his cute bat display, pumpkin lady, velvet pumpkins, blackbirds, owls, and more.

Pretty silhouette of horse, painted on wood by local artist Jackie Stanley.

Roses and Rustics mercantile cupboard is filling up with a new general goods look. Starting with artwork from Gemini Studios. Handmade through a process of layering graphic pieces on antique paper, newsprint, pastels, and acrylic paint. Using sealer, stamping ink, and muslin bags they create a unique textured canvas. Every piece is a unique and an original piece of art.

New flour sack dishtowels have been hand screen printed, with color-fast ink. They are washing machine/dryer safe.
O’Brien and Schridde Designs make the best nostalgic new frames around. Made from environmentally friendly recycled materials. We have in stock three different styles. Their large artboard frames made from cardboard over a half inch thick. Edges have beautiful antiqued gold leaf finish. The printed front has a romantic debossed & gold leaf pattern around the opening. Their sweet Petite Frames are 11x11inches on the exterior and 5×5 on the interior.

Kim Hanauer has brought in a trio of her layered art on canvas, as well as a handmade pewter skull necklace.

Local to Nolensville we are lucky to have Stephanie, ‘Exuberant Housewifery” who sews up the cutest pincushions you could ever find. Just in, her wonderful palm sized soap at only $3.00 a pop. Can’t beat that price. Hope you can find more than a few stocking stuffers on your next trip in.

Grain Sack Pillows just arrived.

Handmade washcloths.
