The Buttercup Festival, 2012
Here she is, and she looks the part. A star is born with her star-like sunglasses and all. Lilly, the newly crowned Little Miss Buttercup of 2012.



All “The Buttercups” won our hearts.

THE BUTTERCUP FESTIVAL – SAT APRIL 14TH FROM 10 to 4pm
Preparations are underway. All of Nolensville Historic District will be showing off for “The Buttercup Festival”. Shops will be having specials, and food will be in great supply. Including Fried Snickers, Fried Oreos, Bar-B-Que, Burgers, Ice-Cream, you name it. Lots of venders will be selling their wares.
You can be your own professional photographer. Nolensville Photography will have a set up next to Roses and Rustics. Don’t forget your camera.
Civil War Reenactors will be at the Nolensville First United Methodist Church, The Elite Dancers will perform at 12noon, “Little Miss Buttercup” will be crowned at 1pm behind the B&B,with music thru-out the day. The Historic Society is bringing in “Buttercup” the cow, along with old fashioned games, and more. Not to mention pony-rides, and a petting zoo.
Parking with shuttle service will be at The Rec Center, Nolensville Ball Park (off Rocky Fork) starting at 10am, and at the Town Hall starting at 12noon. In town parking is at Nolensville First United Methodist Church, and Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
TWO YEARS, THIS MONTH

This is the stagecoach that used to run thru Nolensville in days gone by.
A few parts of Nolensville haven’t changed, like my store which used to be a grocery. According to the Joe Horton Studio lunch would be a whopping 25cents at the time. Thank you to Yvonne at the studio for supplying R&R with their wonderful old photos of the Nashville area. Thank you Jackie Stanley for whipping up the best mercantile sign around.
We have in the cutest notecards, and of course they are brand spankin new, but at the same time the old time vibe.

Nolensville put on a great parade to THANK all Veterans for their service.
