Yep, it’s that time again. Saturday April 12th our 15th Annual Buttercup Festival is on. This year it will absolutely be the biggest ever. Starting with the food, we have none other than fried oreos, fried pies, homemade tortillas, Itty Bitty Donut Truck, Bar-b-que, ice-cream, local restaurants are bringing it in, the list goes on and on.
Vendors galore. Over 100. So can’t really do that one justice. All shops in the district will have specials to look forward to. This one can’t be missed. Little Miss/Miss Buttercup crowned at 1pm. See you there.
Local shops, restaurants, and others will be open Thurs 3-9pm for “Girl’s Night Out”, and all day Friday offering discounts and a chance to win a Grand Prize Giveaway. This is a donation of $25.00 from each store and restaurant. All shoppers will receive a punch card from each place of business. Once your punch card is full you may enter the drawing.
Roses and Rustics will be open all day Thursday as well. During the Holiday Hop hours we will be having a 15% off SALE. I’m sure you will find some good munchies as well. Hope to see you all there. Wishing you a Happy Holiday Season. Jane
It’s here again so soon. The WHOLE “Historic District” is having our Christmas Open House this Saturday Nov 2nd. Roses & Rustics will be having 10% of all, and three free items for you to discover in the shop. (One per person, please) Jason Parker Counce has brought in the cutest handcrafted angel ornaments, a big beautiful Santa, and fragrant rose hips. More deliveries later. Other fun xmas presents in the store include, Little Seed Farm goat soaps decked out for xmas even labeled “Lump O’Coal”, cute for a stocking stuffer. Paddywax Dicken’s Candles, Nashville Puzzles, Coasters, and striped Stockings from Maine. Fun christmas cards from Shannon Martin and others.
Other dates to keep in mind: Nolensville’s Holiday Hop will be Thurs Nov 213-9pm and Fri 10-5pm. Also our local Christmas In The Village is the Saturday after Thanksgiving Nov 3oth.

Nolensville’s biggest event in the district. THE BUTTERCUP FESTIVAL is coming up Sat. April 6th from 10-5pm. Lots of FOOD, lots of VENDERS, lots of STORE DISCOUNTS, fun for kids, including games, zoo-pony rides, civil war reenactors, you name it we have it. Look for signs regarding parking. Roses & Rustics will be having specials along with all other stores in the district. Angela Faye Daniel is bringing her photography to the shop. The Joe Horton Studio will have a booth again this year. Their Nashville Historic photos are very popular and are still available at the shop. Hope to see you all there.The following weekend also brings something special to Nashville. Jason Parker Counce is putting on his first show of it’s kind in Nashville. Union of Craft Marketplace. Gorgeous stepback cupboard. Early 1900′s. Just in, pretty music cabinet. Painted with chalk paint. Great in a lot of spots, including the bath for towels. Handmade from a local woodworker. Dining room table with 6 ladder back chairs. This table top is oak barnwood, and has 3 drawers with antique pulls. One drawer even has a secret compartment.
