NOLENSVILLE’S BIG EVENT, Plus…

Nolensville’s biggest event in the district.  THE BUTTERCUP FESTIVAL is coming up Sat. April 6th from 10-5pm.  Lots of FOOD, lots of VENDERS, lots of STORE DISCOUNTS, fun for kids, including games, zoo-pony rides, civil war reenactors, you name it we have it.  Look for signs regarding parking.  Roses & Rustics will be having specials along with all other stores in the district.  Angela Faye Daniel is bringing her photography to the shop.  The Joe Horton Studio will have a booth again this year.  Their Nashville Historic photos are very popular and are still available at the shop.  Hope to see you all there.The following weekend also brings something special to Nashville.  Jason Parker Counce is putting on his first show of it’s kind in Nashville.  Union of Craft Marketplace.  Preview will take place April 11th 5-8pm $50.00, and open to the public Friday & Saturday April 12 & 13th 9-6pm $5.00  More info at www.unionofcraftmarketplace.com

                                        Speakeasy, a Lady’s Perfume is new in.  This along with a new batch of Moonshine.    Don’t forget the Buttercup Fesitval is coming up Saturday April 6th.  10-5pm.                                                                                                           Paddywax candles have already been a hit.                                                                   New drinking glasses, the ultimate in recycling.  Made from Bubble Up, Corona Light etc. 
                                                                                               A new batch of Shannon Martin cards has hit the racks.

Happy Valentine’s Day

Nolensville was packed today with a constant stream of shoppers.  That is what every shopkeeper hopes for.  Thank you to all of our new and faithful customers and friends for shopping the district.

NEW FOR JANUARY 2013

      Gorgeous stepback cupboard.  Early 1900′s.                     Just in, pretty music cabinet.  Painted with chalk paint.  Great in a lot of spots, including the bath for towels.  Handmade from a local woodworker.  Dining room table with 6 ladder back chairs.  This table top is oak barnwood, and has 3 drawers with antique pulls.  One drawer even has a secret compartment. OPEN TIL 8 ON THE Eighth (This Saturday Dec 8th)

It’s about time for a big sale at Roses and Rustics.  This coming Saturday is the perfect occasion for the big one.  30% off all large wood furniture pieces.  Dressers, desk, pie safe, farm table, tables etc.  10% off all other items in the store.  This is all happening at the “Open Til 8 on the Eighth”  evening  between 5 and 8 pm, Sat Dec 8th. ( We will be open regular store hours 10-5pm on Saturday also. )  Come in and check out the whole historic district for “Open til 8 on the Eighth”

TWO IMPORTANT ADDITIONS

Blue Goose Linens has been working hard supplying Roses & Rustics with the prettiest handcrafted european linens around.  You have to come in to see them in person.  We have lampshades, double ruffle pillows, euros, bolsters, throws etc.  You can custom order much more including curtains, duvets, and bedskirts.  In otherwords your entire bedroom could be had.

We are so lucky to have upholstered furniture straight from North Carolina.  A variety of pieces including this settee & pretty archchair.  Ottomans are available in 24 or 48inch round.  These pieces come with or without tufts.  A slimmer settee/bench is great for the dining table.  Wingback chairs, and a variety of side chairs can be ordered.  Please come in & take a look.

Kodak Moment

If it’s cameras you want, it’s cameras you’ll get.  We have a boatload of them.  Everybody seems to like vintage cameras to display or actually put into use.  So we have a spot in the store dedicated to just that.  This is made possible thanks to Michael from Nashville Cameras. We’ve left “no store unturned” starting in Leipers Fork.  Leah looks pretty lonely there without her cousin Jenna.  We’ve missed you.

 

The best of the best can be found at Peter Nappi.  It was not just a store but an experience.  Italian made boots, purses, messenger bags, watches, belts all displayed in a gorgeous way in a gorgeous building.  It’s not just a store but an experience.  Located at 1308 Adams Street, Nashville.
